We Take Your Suggestions Seriously
As part of the product vision to increase user engagement, enhancement the DM function by:
Removing the character limit of advisor DM message, currently capped at 280 characters.
Allowing reconfigurable DM 'per-minute' rate to accept $0.
Removing or allowing a configurable # of hours to respond constraint.
Allowing advisor to initiate the DM with their followers.
Designing a solution where advisor can activate to start billing the consumer for DM reading at the configured per-minute rate. For example:
consumer can start a DM without any dollars withheld and without the 'your fund is withheld' pop-up
advisor can respond to the DM.
their exchange would be free of charge up until advisor starts the billing 'clock' using a UI action. The billing 'clock' is referring to the very next message received from the consumer after advisor takes the UI action.
I support this fully, it is challenging to provide a cohesive and meaningful response in 280 characters. I would add that a customer can hang up to stop a call or charges. I feel like it is important to give the customer the ability/option to stop or end the chat. I would personally like greater leeway in resonding, more characters or allowing multiple messages to be sent in a row if the 280 cap is maintained. With that, I feel like this implies that the response time for messaging should be narrowed in scope. Much like the customer has 60 seconds to retract a question, I feel like the time alotted for the reader to respond and the chat exchange, needs to be narrowed to ensure the integrity of the reading.
