I knew the time would come where I would inadvertently send an incomplete chat message. It would be nice to have even just a 5 second window of time to recall a message sent in error or a notification that says, "Is this message ready to send?" I have no way to notify the client that I accidentally sent a partial response.

Thanks Laurene for this input. Please note we are redesigning the chat feature to make it more user friendly. The redesign will be rolled out over several releases. The first is to allow consumers to 1) chat with advisors for free as a way for the consumer to get to know the advisor, 2) remove the 280-character limit per chat message, and 3) remove the time constraint. Following releases will give advisors even greater control such as ability to initiate a chat session with followers, etc. The upcoming changes may address the use case you described here. We will circle back to confirm your needs are met then.
